World Waterpark at West Edmonton Mall is hosting their first official FlowRider FLOW Tour event. Not only  will it be the only Canadian stop this season, but it is the first Official Canadian FLOW Championships.

Kicking off the weekend with Flow with the Pro sessions with 5x World Champions, Sean Silveira and Nick Nguyen on Thursday August 11th. Pre-Competition party on Friday August 12th tied in with a competitor seminar, leading to the the main FLOW Tour event on Saturday August 13th!

• $2500 in cash prizes
• Airfare for 1 Overall Division Winner to represent Canada at the World Flowboarding Championships
• Prize Bags for Top 3 competitors in each division

Schedule Of Events:

  • Thursday August 11th
    • Flow with the Pro Hourly sessions with access – $25
      • 1:00 to 2:00pm
      • 2:00 to 3:00pm
      • 3:00 to 4:00pm
      • 6:00 to 7:00pm
      • 7:00 to 8:00pm
  • Friday August 12th
    • Kickoff party at Ed’s where the judges/competitor seminar will be held
    • Wave Show with 5x World Champions Sean Silveira & Nick Nguyen
  • Saturday August 13th
    • Canadian FLOW Championships
      • 12:00pm-6:00pm


Entry Fees/Divisions:

All entries MUST be complete and submitted to the World Waterpark prior to event practice. No entry refunds will be given if the competitor does not attend the event. (Subject to reasoning)

Mens Pro Flowboard – $50
Womens Pro Flowboard – $50
Pro Bodyboard – $50

Mens Flowboard (18+) – $35
Mens Bodyboard (18+) – $35

Womens Flowboard (18+) – $35
Womens Bodyboard (18+) – $35

Junior Flowboard (17/under) – $35
Junior Bodyboard (17/under) – $35

Youth Flowboard (12/under) – $35
Youth Bodyboard (12/under)- $35

Pro riders cannot sign-up for amateur divisions, however, amateurs may sign up for Pro divisions (if any Amateur rider places in the finals and accepts prize money, rider will remain in the Pro Division for the remainder of the season)

*Divisions are subject to a minimum of 4 entries. If Division does not meet minimum entry requirements, competitors may be placed in another division at Event Coordinator’s discretion.

Scoring Process/Judging Criteria:

Each riders run are broken down into 3 categories:

1.) Execution 2.) Difficulty 3.) Variety

• Judges will submit a score (1-10) for each individual rider after each run.

• Once the rider has had their three runs, their top two scores will be added together to give a final score out 20.
