While America’s famous groundhog, Punxsutawney Phil, was predicting 6 more weeks of winter, FlowRider Utah in Ogden was hosting a Hawaiian Luau Beach Party and invited everyone!
Not letting the ground hog’s predication sway their decisions, local flowboarders, in their creative Hawaiian beach attire, swayed their hips to a live DJ & and exciting Fflow show. Party attendees were encouraged to dress up and follow the GoWithTheFlowTM party theme. Aside from some amazing limbo and hula hooping contests, party goers could win prizes by posting and tagging on Instagram – tons of opportunities to win prizes!
Many of us were not lucky enough to attend, but thanks to the flowboarders who participated and shared their fun. It was fun to live vicariously through them during the party.
Jordan Munoa and his epic selfie won the Instagram costume contest winner from the luau party winning himself a 10-session punch pass or a half wave rental!
Regardless of the early spring that Punxsutawney Phil predicted, flowboarders that visit the FlowRider in Ogden, will continue to enjoy the snowy mountains and snowboard during the day and then ride the wave indoors at night.
To make things even more interesting, FlowRider Utah will be hosting a themed party once a month, so be sure to check out the Facebook page and stay social for those details and invites!
Thanks to everyone who came out to our luau party last night! Our instagram contest winner will be announced Monday, keep those posts coming in and tag @flowriderutah #surfogden to enter. The photo with the most likes will win a 10 punch pass or a half wave rental!!
